Brent Swadley, owner of Swadley's Foggy Bottom Kitchen, was convicted on six felony fraud charges related to fake invoices submitted to the Oklahoma state tourism department for nearly $17 million from 2019 to 2022. The case involves restaurants operated in Oklahoma state parks, including Lake Murray.

Swadley convicted of defrauding state

Brent Swadley, owner of Swadley's Bar-B-Q, was convicted of defrauding the state after his Swadley’s Foggy Bottom Kitchen chain was contracted to operate restaurants at several state parks, including Roman Nose State Park north of Watonga.
