PHOTO: Traffic Lights Installed at New Hampshire and Chestnut as Reconfiguration Nears Completion

Traffic lights were installed at the intersection of New Hampshire and Chestnut. The intersection – which has been the site of dozens of accidents – was completely reconfigured, along with the approach on Chestnut Street. The lights on NH and on Chestnut are expected to go live in the coming weeks.

The Traffic Police Department has proposed to review and repair damaged traffic light poles and will not penalize violators at the damaged light poles.

On several avenues, these signals appear off or intermittent. Citizenship requests replacement of them. ATM does not respond.
