Lithuania has detained Russian and Belarusian citizens on suspicion of supplying technology to the Russian military-industrial complex. Several citizens of Belarus, Russia and Lithuania are suspected of transferring technologies produced with EU funds to the Russian military industry. Five individuals and one company have been notified of the suspicion, and more than ten searches have been carried out in various cities in Lithuania.
Technologies produced in Lithuania with EU support could have been used in the military industry of Russia and Belarus, law enforcement reported on Monday.
