Food prices are generally rising in Canada, and buying meat has become more expensive, but a new report on the average monthly prices of some food products released by Statistics Canada shows that while the prices of most beef products have increased, the price of pork is falling.

The increases in the prices of beef and chicken left no choice for grills last April, but they did demand the decision of 12% of the population, either because it is vegan or vegetarian, not to eat dead animals. That percentage arises from the measurement commissioned by the Union Vegana Argentina and carried out by Insights Kantar.
