Greenville Fire/Rescue to implement innovative 24/72 schedule

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) -- Greenville City Council voted on Sept. 11th to move forward with the 24/72 proposal: 24 hours on and 72 hours off. The approval of this proposal highlights the City's ongoing commitment to public safety. The department currently operates on a 24/48 schedule with a very high call volume.
