GRAND FORKS — A Grand Forks man was ordered to serve eight years in prison after changing his plea in an attempted murder case Monday, June 30. Alexander Antonio Thompson, 28, pleaded guilty to Class A felony attempted murder and Class C felony aggravated assault.
