Malawi Government and Romanian firm East Bridge Estate SRL are embroiled in a legal battle over seizure of assets and the company’s $32.6 million (about K57 billion) claim to be paid by March 10 2026. In a notice dated February 24 2026, East Bridge through Kalekeni Kaphale Lawyers gave the Malawi Government until March 10, 2026 to settle the claim.
