- On Oct. 21, Governor Kim Reynolds released the DOGE final report with 45 recommendations from the Iowa Department of Government Efficiency task force.
- Formed in February, the DOGE task force worked six months under Reynolds' direction and engaged over 5,000 Iowans before submitting its report on September 29, 2025.
- DOGE recommended a merit-based compensation system for K-12 teachers including bonuses, a two-year pay boost up to $15,000, expanded service-sharing, and a $15 MILLION workforce fund via Iowa Workforce Development.
