Gov. Braun Signs Two New Public Safety Bills into Law
Governor Mike Braun spotlighted two new public safety bills into law on Wednesday during a ceremonial bill signing. One of the new laws limits who can post bail. Starting July 1st, charitable groups won’t be allowed to bail out people accused of violent crimes or those with repeat violent arrests. The law also targets domestic violence cases.
