- Local officials said the project will add jobs and community payments, expecting 300 high-wage jobs, over 4,000 construction jobs, $1.5 million annual payments, and Meta covering 100% energy costs.
- The Indiana Economic Development Corporation granted a 35-year sales tax exemption tied to at least $1 billion invested in six years, with possible 50-year extensions if Meta meets further milestones.
- Residents and utilities raised water concerns as the Lebanon site plans to use 25 million gallons daily; Peterson said, 'This means for the majority of the year, we're going to actually use zero water.
