As European manufacturers' sales fly away, Paris offers 1 000 euros for European battery models in order to counter Chinese competition.
So that's the surprise of the start-up! The government grants an additional premium on the purchase of an electric car, allowing for a maximum ecological bonus of 5,200 euros. And this, since the model fulfils a new condition, which excludes for the moment the majority of vehicles... Here's how to be eligible.
This premium, which will be allocated as soon as next month, is added to the ecological bonus in force since 1 July. The list of eligible vehicles will be published in the coming days on the website of the Environmental Transition Agency.
This measure, which comes into force on 1 October, must accompany "the transition of the automotive sector in Europe", announced the Ministries of Environmental Transition and Industry.
