Ohio launches Student Eye Exam program in 15 counties

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Ohio officials visited an elementary school in Cleveland on Wednesday to officially kick off the beginning of the Ohio Student Eye Exam program, which is aimed at providing comprehensive eye care to children in kindergarten through third grade.

The program will provide comprehensive eye exams and eyeglasses at no cost to kindergarten through third-grade students in 15 pilot counties, including Cuyahoga.
