MONTGOMERY — In a rare move, Gov. Kay Ivey dismissed and replaced the entire appointed Motor Sports Hall of Fame Commission after a problematic 35-issue state audit last month.

A letter obtained by WVTM 13 on Wednesday that was sent by Governor Kay Ivey's office to board member Gerald Dial at the end of October did not specify the exact reason for the change, stating only that it was "for cause."
