Gov. Dunleavy doubles down on previously rejected education policy proposals ahead of special session

JUNEAU, ALASKA, JUL 29 – Governor Dunleavy seeks legislative approval for education reforms including teacher bonuses and expanded tax credits amid a $50 million education budget veto override vote.

Alaska House and Senate leaders said they would instead focus on overriding some of Gov. Mike Dunleavy’s vetoes.
