- On Tuesday, Gov. Andy Beshear at the Emergency Operations Center in Frankfort provided an update on response efforts and confirmed 10 weather-related deaths from the weekend winter storm.

- Operationally, state highway and Guard resources include nearly 1,500 state highway trucks and about 3,000 Kentucky National Guard members, while state and contracted plow crews have tracked 670,000 miles since Friday.
- Sheltering operations report 7,449 boil-water advisory customers and more than 130 warming centers with over 950 sheltered people, as power outages decreased to 27,014.
- An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect until 11 a.m. EST Tuesday as freezing temperatures continue, and officials urged limiting outdoor exposure because frostbite or hypothermia can occur in 10 to 30 minutes.
