Gordon Ramsay to bury hatchet with Marcus Wareing on brand new BBC cookery show
The daytime series will be produced by Ramsay’s company and hosted by Wareing as the chefs end a 16-year feud, BBC Two said.
Celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing are reuniting for a new BBC Two cookery series, officially ending their 16-year feud.
A bitter 2008 business dispute over the lease of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Pétrus at The Berkeley hotel previously separated the chefs after Wareing decided to launch his own venture.
Ramsay said the new format combines "extraordinary human stories" with home cooking to celebrate the kitchen as the heart of every home, aiming to help cooks master the simplest things done well.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside Gordon again," Wareing told The Sun, expressing excitement about sharing a kitchen and taking cooks on a journey down memory lane.
While the untitled daytime series is not expected to air until 2027, the project marks a fresh venture exploring the emotional side of cooking rather than competitive restaurant dynamics.
