- New Gophers men’s basketball coach Niko Medved has added two guards to his roster: Maximus Gizzi and Max Lorenson.
- Maximus Gizzi averaged 10 points and 3.7 assists per game at Huntington University and was named the Crossroads League’s defensive player of the year.
- Max Lorenson, a freshman from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, averaged more than 26 points a game as a senior and is the school's fourth all-time leading scorer.
