GOP Senator Doesn’t See Deal on Obamacare Subsidies

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) told Punchbowl News that he doesn’t believe that the Senate will pass an extension of the Obamacare premium subsidies. Said Schmitt: “My point of view is that we ought to move forward with reform, and we should do it in reconciliation… We should do it, we should find things that matter to real people, and do it in reconciliation. I just don’t see us getting the 60 votes in the Senate on anything.”
