PSA: Google Chrome to Soon Drop Support for macOS Big Sur
MACOS BIG SUR USERS, JUL 14 – Google will end Chrome updates for macOS Big Sur users with version 139 to ensure security, requiring macOS 12 or later for continued support and new installations.
- Google announced that Chrome 139, scheduled for July 30, will drop support for macOS 11 Big Sur on Macs.
- This change follows Apple ending security updates for macOS 11, and Google requiring newer operating systems to maintain Chrome updates.
