The biotech firm sold 17 million shares after increasing the deal size, backed by investors including Goldman Sachs affiliate and Deep Track Capital.
On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, San Carlos, California-based Attovia Therapeutics Inc. began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol 'ATTO' after pricing its upsized initial public offering at $17 per share.
Founded in 2023 as a spinout of Alamar Biosciences Inc., Attovia previously raised about $256 million in venture funding to support its development of biotherapeutics for immune-mediated diseases.
The company utilizes its proprietary ATTOBODY platform to discover product candidates, including its lead program ATTO-1310, an anti-IL-31 therapeutic currently in Phase 1 testing for chronic pruritic diseases.
Attovia secured 45% more capital than initially anticipated, raising $289 million in gross proceeds and achieving a market valuation of $767 million according to regulatory filings.
This offering represents the 16th biotech IPO of 2026 according to BioPharma Dive data, as Attovia plans upcoming trials for its second candidate, ATTO-2306, targeting IL-31 and IL-13 in the first half of next year.
