- Constructed from corn husk, sesame seed, orange slices, lentils and red carnations, the centerpiece is a colossal seahorse with a carousel of baby seahorses called frys.
- Four students from Dominguez High School in Compton will ride the float, which will travel the 5.5-mile Rose Parade route to showcase teamwork and inspire small-business owners, Sarah Casalan said.
