- Technically, the update includes a 65 kWh LFP battery with GM-estimated 255 miles of range, 150 kW peak charging from 10%-80% in 26 minutes, and an Equinox EV motor producing 210 hp.
- The pricing positions the Bolt as the cheapest electric car in the United States next year, crucial as federal EV tax credits have vanished for many buyers, pressuring manufacturers to lower prices.
- Production will begin at Fairfax Assembly in Kansas City and the limited Launch Edition at $29,990 ships early next year, followed by an LT trim at $28,995 and an RS trim around $32,000.
