Glenwood Cemetery is more than a Victorian City of the Dead

Today, park-like Glenwood Cemetery with its bee colonies and a bat house invites visitors, dog walkers included, to wander its scenic pathways, but a century ago the rules were very different. While tidying drawers in a premature fit of spring cleaning, last week, I discovered a Glenwood deed of purchase issued to my grandmother on April 5, 1919.
