Girls tennis roundup: NLS Wildcats edge the Morris/CA Tigers, 4-3

NEW LONDON — The New London-Spicer girls tennis team improved its record to 3-0 Thursday. The Wildcats edged Morris/Chokio-Alberta 4-3. NLS earned victories at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 singles. Brooke Glauvitz, Emma Freidel and Delany Barber all won their matches, as did the Wildcats’ No. 2 doubles team of Heidi Taunton and Averie Turner. Glauvitz beat Lydia Sweep 6-3, 6-4.
