SARTELL — Brainerd’s Taryn Mithun is two wins away from a state tournament berth. The Warriors' No. 1 singles player began her Section 8-3A Individual Tournament with a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Elk River’s Katya Aliakseichyk in the second round. She then eliminated St. Cloud Tech’s June Streit 7-5, 7-5 to advance to the semifinal round.
