Three days after the fire that ravaged nearly 2.5 hectares in the Combe Lavaux nature reserve, we followed a patrol from the National Forestry Office in the Gevrey-Chambertin area, where the zone was classified as being at "very severe" risk of forest fires. This preventative operation was more than necessary at a time when many behaviors remain inappropriate during periods of drought.
