STUTTGART, Germany, Feb 21 (Reuters) - Germany's ruling conservatives on Saturday passed a motion to ban social media use for under 14s and introduce more stringent digital verification checks for teenagers, building momentum for such limits in Germany and elsewhere in Europe.
The chairman of the CSU-Landegruppe said in the Bundestag that the ban debate "passed by reality". Rather, operators had to be put into the obligation
CDU and SPD agree: Children and young people need protection in social networks. The third coalition partner does not take part when it comes to an age limit.
