The SCOOTER HS-1 hypersonic missile demonstration exceeded Mach 6 (approximately 7,350 km/h) during a test flight, the British-German company Hypersonics announced. Europe is actively working to develop an effective weapon of this type. According to available data, only Russia and China have operationally deployed hypersonic capabilities.

The British-German company Hypersonica announced the successful test of its SCOOTER HS-1 demonstrator missile, which reached speeds exceeding Mach 6.
