German Dogma 25: German-Speaking Directors Launch Local Version of Danish Film Movement

Five German-speaking directors will make five films under 10 rules meant to revive independent cinema and counter algorithm-driven conventions.

Tom Tykwer, Ilker Çatak, Nora Fingscheidt, Helene Hegemann, and Kardwin Ayub pledge to make films without artistic interference, using found materials, and without the use of the internet.
