Hungary is planning a referendum on Ukraine's accession to the EU. The government warns of the consequences – the Commissioner for Enlargement is powerless.

Brussels wants to bypass the practice used so far when accelerating Ukraine's accession to the European Union, the minister heading the Prime Minister's Office said on Monday in Dunakeszi, Pest County.

According to the "Brussels instructions", the Tisza Party and its leaders must prove that Hungarians support Ukraine's accession to the EU, Tamás Menczer stated at a press conference.
