Mexico City, Mexico.- The General Motors (GM) plant in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, faced a severe blow this Thursday, following the White House decision to maintain 25% tariffs on imports of products from Mexico. This adjustment was immediately reflected in the automotive plant, which has had to fire a thousand workers and adjust its production, reducing from three to two shifts. 1,000 GM workers in Ramos Arizpe lose their jobs due to U.S. tariffs.
