Olive trees in the Gaza Strip are no longer seen as a new agricultural season, as farmers used to, as vast tracts of land that were swarming with trees were turned into barren lands by raids, shelling, and shovel. In many areas, farms are no longer looking for the best way to harvest their crops, but for a tree that survived, or a safe fruit from the aftermath of the war.
