Albert Lea High School Assistant Principal Sean Gaston has been named the new high school principal, Albert Lea Area Schools Superintendent Steven Heil said Monday.  Gaston started in the district as a social studies teacher at the high school in August 2015 and worked as an instructional coach from 2018 to 2021 and as a dean from August 2021 through December 2022, before becoming assistant principal in December 2022.
