Galveston trash pickup to be delayed this week, city says

Trash pickup between 61st Street and 51st Street from Broadway to Avenue S, usually done on Tuesdays, was delayed to Wednesday, the city said. Tuesday’s route was completed by 1:30 p.m., Dustin Bender, the city’s sanitation director, said.
