The Integral Centre of Saúde de Lugo, pioneer in performing minor surgeries before the summer

The Servizo Galego de Saúde (Sergas) will activate this year the progressive implantation of minor surgeries in Primary Care. Before summer they will be available in the comprehensive health center (CIS) of Lugo and in the Virxe da Peregrina of Pontevedra, with the objective that by 2029 it will extend throughout Galicia. The Xunta approves the new Plan of Minor Cirurxy in Primary Care with a catalogue of "synx" interventions to avoid referrals to the hospital. The professionals of the health centers of reference of the health areas will be able to intervene from papillomas to benign cysts or subungueal hematomas. The deployment starts in Lugo and Pontevedra "previously you will see" and will extend to the rest of centers that are district heads from here to 2029
