FORT DODGE—Seventh-ranked St. Edmond drove in nine runs by blasting three home runs in a 12-4, five-inning North Central Conference softball victory on Wednesday, June 11 over the Algona Bulldogs. The red-and-black started fast with three runs in the top of the first inning for an early 3-0 advantage. The home team battled back with two in the bottom of the frame, four in the second and five more in the third stanza for an 11-3 lead.
