A funeral home operator accused of stealing money from clients is facing even more charges for allegedly stealing money from over 30 people in Tolland, police said. An investigation by the Eastern District Major Crime Squad found that Philip Pietras, 51, took money from 31 people, all over the age of 60, that held contracts at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home from 2011 to 2025.
