Enschede's first electric city tram has briefly returned to the city after almost a century. The tram was decommissioned in 1933 and has been fully restored in recent years. The TET (Twentsche Electrische Tramweg Maatschappij) tram 1 ran through Enschede between 1918 and 1933, when the largest city in Overijssel was still a major textile center.
