The network operator Tennet has agreed with farmers' associations on compensation payments for the Fulda-Main-Stromstrasse. The maximum voltage line will run through Hesse at almost 100 kilometres. Farmers are to receive money for land use and possible consequential damage.
Together with the state farmers' associations from Bavaria and Hesse, the transmission network provider Tennet has signed a framework agreement for the planned Fulda-Main line. The agreement lays the foundation for the compensation of land owners and managers whose areas are affected by the course of the line.
