Umut Altaş, a key figure in the investigation into the horrific murder of university student Gülistan Doku in Tunceli on January 5, 2020, and who had been a fugitive, is being included in the judicial process following his arrest in New York. Altaş, for whom an Interpol red notice had been issued, is expected to appear for his first hearing on Tuesday, May 26 (tomorrow) in the Southern District Court of New York.
