Frontier Airlines jet reports striking an individual walking on runway at Denver International Airport: Report

On Friday, a Frontier Airlines flight departing Denver International Airport for Los Angeles appeared to strike a person on runway 17L, forcing the pilot to abort takeoff.
Following the impact, the pilot reported an engine fire to the tower, telling ATC, "We're stopping on the runway. we have an engine fire." Fire crews were dispatched to extinguish the blaze.
With 231 passengers on board, the crew ordered an immediate evacuation on the runway and transported everyone back to the terminal. At least one passenger suffered a minor injury during the incident.
