From 1 September, TPO (diphenyl trimethylbenzoyl phosphine oxide), an ingredient used in semi-permanent varnishes, will be banned throughout Europe. DGCCRF has announced this measure, which follows the European regulation "Omnibus VII". This regulation prohibits carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic substances for reproduction.
