Research by Yale chemist and pharmacologist Jon Ellman has spawned at least 10 FDA-approved drugs and agrochemicals — and enabled the breakthrough HIV-AIDS treatment lenacapavir, which was named “2024 Breakthrough of the Year” by Science magazine.
