The disunity within the SPÖ continues unabated. According to a report in the "Kurier," Lower Austria's state chairman, Sven Hergovich, has decided not to run for re-election to the federal bodies—namely, the presidium and the executive committee—at the upcoming party conference. Two heavyweights within the party, Vienna's mayor Michael Ludwig and Burgenland's governor Hans Peter Doskozil, are already not represented in these bodies.
