The proportion of French people doing sport, and more importantly on a regular basis, has increased since the Paris Olympics. The gap between men and women has also narrowed. - The French have been doing sport more regularly since the Paris Olympics (Sports).
According to the national barometer on sports practice, published on Wednesday 14 January, the proportion of French people doing sport at least once a week increased by two points, one year after the Paris 2024 Games, to 61%, with the march and race being successful.
