French judge Mattias Guyomar was elected as the new president of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on Monday, succeeding Slovenian judge Marko Bošnjak at the end of May, the court announced.
The new President of the ECHR will take office on May 30, when Mark Bosniak, the current President of the ECHR, expires.
