A freight train collided with a truck on Tuesday morning in Garsten (Steyr-Land district). The 25-year-old driver was locked up with his truck on the restricted railway crossing, as he had to reverse more often in the following narrow left-hand curve and meanwhile the railway barriers closed behind him. The barriers remained hanging on the structure of the vehicle, the police reported.
