Freeze watch for Alabama for Friday
A freeze watch was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 10:21 a.m. valid for Friday between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. for Marion, Lamar, Fayette, Winston, Walker, Blount, Etowah, Calhoun, Cherokee, Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Jefferson and St. Clair counties.The weather service states, "Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 degrees possible."
