A 39-year-old skier died in an accident on Easter Monday in the Obergurgl ski area in Sölden (Imst district). While descending from the summit of the Hinterer Wurmkogel, a cornice broke away, and the man fell approximately 200 meters down steep terrain. The emergency physician could only pronounce him dead at the scene.
