Frauke Petry wants to form a new party

The AfD has turned her back on a dispute, then Frauke Petry failed with her Blue Party. Soon she wants to join a new party. A program item: the radical reduction of the state quota.

Ex-AfD leader Petry sees a gap in the party system that she wants to fill with a "team freedom" – freedom of expression and an "anti-etatist offer".

Frauke Petry already has experience with party foundations. After being cut off as AfD leader, she tried unsuccessfully with the Blue Party. Now the 49-year-old makes a new start and betrays: Start is 2026, it is about freedom.

Because the party was drifting increasingly to the far right, Frauke Petry withdrew from the AfD. Now she wants to attempt a fresh start.
